Shipping & Returns

For domestic (U.S.A.) customers:

Priority Mail shipping is strongly suggested since it's easier to track, and it's packed in a padded mailer. Priority Mail Express is also available for expedited delivery (usually next-day) but at significantly higher cost. Economy shipping is only available for customers in the USA, and its use is discouraged. Delivery times are longer than Priority Mail (up to 21 days is possible), but for shipping to NYC and environs it's often less than 10 days. UPS shipping is available, but in my experience their insurance never covers a lost or damaged package so consider UPS shipping to be uninsurable.

International Shipping

Shipping heavy items like books out of the United States is expensive, even by first class mail. Economy delivery has a good track record but it is not traceable once it leaves the U.S. Postal Service's hands. Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express are better options, but at higher cost, and they are insured and trackable. If you require UPS, FedEx, DHL or other express delivery please contact our offices at +1 973-228-5848 during normal business hours (9am-6pm New York City time). Shipping via these methods is strongly discouraged!

Shipping Insurance:

Free shipping insurance is provided for up to 2 copies sent by the U.S. Postal Service. Note that claims must be made between 14 and 45 days of when you are notified of your order's shipment. Claims are not considered until 14 days have elapsed since the item was mailed, and are automatically rejected after 60 days.

Taxes, duties, etc.

Packages are shipped as "merchandise" for customs purposes, with the full purchase price listed on the customs forms. You are responsible for any and all taxes, import fees, duties, brokerage fees or any other amount charged upon import by your government. We will neither collect nor remit any taxes not required under United States law.

EU/UK Restrictions

Customers from Great Britain can purchase books from RON'S BOOKS (www.ronsbooks.com). I am not able to process orders from the U.K. directly via this site.

EU customers please be advised that I will not collect and remit VAT under European IOSS regulations. If you purchase from this site you may be charged VAT and potentially other fees by your country's government at import.

No Refunds/returns

Since books are personalized and manufactured on-demand there are no refunds or returns once the book has been mailed to you. If you have ordered accidentally or your order has errors it can be cancelled and fully refunded before shipment.
